Our MPs

We are supporting 52 MPs who signed Early Day Motion (EDM) 263 from the last Parliamentary session, calling for properly moderated public scientific debates about the claim that animal experiments can ‘predict’ the responses of human patients and allegedly ‘save human lives’. This EDM has been re-tabled as EDM 22, with an updated text to hold the ‘Concordat On Openness On Animal Research’ to public scientific account. The debate conditions for the EDM have been endorsed by Britain’s foremost human rights defence barrister Michael Mansfield QC, pictured below.

Supporting MPs include Diane Abbott MP, a regular guest on BBC’s This Week; Mike Crockart MP; leading international environmentalist Zac Goldsmith MP and Mike Weatherley MP, the Intellectual Property Adviser to the Prime Minister.

ASK YOUR MP TO SIGN EDM 22! Visit the facebook page where you’ll find everything you need to locate your MP and ask him/her to support its call for properly moderated, public scientific debates between scientists who claim animal experiments help human patients and the medical experts at AFMA/EFMA who provide our evidence.
